TicTalk Version 1.0 by Jim Black - Tic Anouncement System for RemoteAccess
TicTalk is a program that should be run prior to running Tic. All TicTalk
does is log incoming tics to your RA.log. TicTalk logs the incoming files
as if a user has logged on, uploaded files, and logged off. This was done
so that Log analizers like my Xfers.exe, could have a way of knowing where
the Tics came from. By default the name of the user who uploaded the tics
is Sysop. This should be changed to Your name if you run any programs that
send messages thanking the uploaders to eliminate messages to Sysop. You
can force TicTalk to use your name simply by passing it as a parameter. A
Q can also be passed as the first paramater to run TicTalk in Quiet Mode,
(Screen surpressed) for use in multi Tasking eviornments.
Example: TicTalk Q Jim Black
Tick
Syntax: TickTalk [Q] [UserName]
This also allows date touch programs to change the date of the tics. Hope
you enjoy the program!
